Assign IP to MAC
The router can be set up to assign the same IP to a specific device. This is also called a static lease. The user needs to know the MAC address of the specific device to make a static lease.
The data-grid shows what IP to MAC rules have been set up.
Buttons
Click Delete to delete an existing IP to MAC rule.
Click New to create a new IP to MAC rule. This will bring up a new window.
Click Edit to edit an existing IP to MAC rule. This will bring up a new window.
Properties
MAC-address: The MAC address of the specific device.
IP-address: The IP address that should be assigned to the specific device.
The image shows how a device with MAC: aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:11 should always be assigned the IP: 10.10.10.222 by the DHCP server of the DINGO device.
